How We Score
Your Harmony Score isn't a vibe. It's a weighted average across five dimensions, each scored against the six traditions and the literature behind them.
The Harmony Score
Each of the five dimensions is scored 0–100 against the six traditions and the peer-reviewed literature. We then weight them — directional and proportional truths weigh slightly more — to arrive at the single number on the dial.
The Bands
0–39
Several findings are pulling against each other. The good news: the lowest scores usually have the cheapest remedies.
40–59
Workable foundations with one or two structural issues. Most homeowners can move into the next band within a season.
60–79
The home is supporting you. Targeted refinements unlock disproportionate gains in sleep, focus, and household mood.
80–100
Rare. Six traditions and the literature largely agree — this home knows what it's doing. We help you protect it.
The Five Dimensions
Each dimension is independently scored, then weighted into your Harmony Score.
How rooms align with cardinal directions, solar geometry, and the gravitational stability of load axes.
The placement of fire, water, earth, metal, and air zones — kitchen, bath, hearth, garden — relative to each other.
Daylight depth, ventilation paths, glare, indoor air markers — all measurable, all consequential.
Room ratios, ceiling heights, window-to-wall, and furniture massing — the geometry of a body in a space.
Nature in the space (light, plants, water) and of the space (prospect, refuge, complexity, mystery).
The Math
Sphelios isn't a hidden algorithm. The score is a transparent weighted average — you can replicate it on a napkin if you have the dimensional inputs and feel mathematical.
H=0.25·D+0.20·E+0.20·L+0.20·P+0.15·B
Where D is Directional, E is Elements, L is Light & Air, P is Proportion, and B is Biophilic — each scored 0–100 against the six traditions and the literature behind them.
